About the Role
Educare Recruitment are working with a brand-new care service in St Austell, supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of the service.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to play a key role in building and developing a service from the ground up, creating a high-quality, person-centred environment for the people who live there.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service
- Ensure the service provides safe, high-quality and person-centred support
- Lead, motivate and develop a strong care and support team
- Recruit and develop staff in line with the needs of the service
- Ensure the home operates in line with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
- Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance
- Work closely with families, healthcare professionals and other external agencies
- Monitor and continually improve the quality of the service
- Support the development of a positive, inclusive and supportive home environment
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous management experience within health and social care
- Has experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
- Has a strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory standards
- Has excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Is passionate about delivering person-centred care
- Can recruit, motivate and develop a dedicated staff team
- Is confident working independently and taking responsibility for a service
- Is either an experienced Registered Manager or ready to take the next step into a Registered Manager position
