Educare Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Teaching Assistants to support schools across Redruth and the surrounding areas.
We have a variety of opportunities available, from day-to-day cover to short-term and longer-term placements.
We're looking for people who are passionate about education, enjoy supporting children and young people, and can make a positive difference in the classroom.
The Role
- Supporting teachers with classroom activities and learning.
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support.
- Helping pupils with their learning, development and engagement.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
- Promoting a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Helping maintain good classroom routines and behaviour.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within an educational setting.
- An up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Relevant and up-to-date training.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, positive and flexible approach.
- Reliability and the ability to adapt to different school environments.

We need candidates who are happy to take on a variety of assignments, including day-to-day cover, short-term placements and longer-term opportunities.
Flexibility is important, as school requirements can change at short notice.
