Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Regular Work Educare Recruitment is expanding its education team and is looking for passionate and reliable SEND Teaching Assistants to work across Cornwall. We have a growing number of opportunities supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within schools and specialist education settings. If you have experience within education, SEND, learning disabilities, autism, mental health or support work, we'd love to hear from you. The Role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you may be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups , helping them engage with education and achieve their individual goals. Your role may include: Providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs Supporting children with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and complex needs Helping pupils engage with classroom activities Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and other education professionals Encouraging independence, confidence and communication Providing a safe, supportive and positive learning environment Who We're Looking For We're interested in hearing from experienced: SEND Teaching Assistants Learning Support Assistants Behaviour Support Workers Youth Workers Support Workers Care Workers with transferable SEND experience Residential Children's Workers Previous school experience is advantageous, but we are also interested in candidates from health and social care backgrounds who have experience supporting children, young people or adults with autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour or complex needs. Drivers Particularly Wanted Due to the locations of some of the schools and specialist settings we support across Cornwall, candidates with a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle are particularly encouraged to apply .
