Responsibilities
Responsibilities include a combination of admin and accounting duties:
- Answering and transferring telephone calls
- Managing appointment diaries and schedules
- General office administration
- Maintaining client records and files
- Ordering stationery and office supplies
- Bookkeeping and data processing
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Assisting with self‑assessment tax returns
- Supporting senior accountants with the preparation of accounts and financial information
Additional Information
- Pay rate will be reviewed ongoing for the right candidate with a view to securing a full‑time position
- 30–35 hours per week
- Monday to Friday between 10:00am and 6:00pm
- Pay at or above the applicable National Minimum Wage / Apprenticeship Rate in accordance with current legislation
- Full training and support within a Chartered Certified Accountancy Practice
Qualifications
- Maths and English GCSE grades A‑C desirable
