Job Description
We are looking to recruit a dedicated individual to join our well-established and busy after school club (Cedar Club). Our Cedar Club runs from 3pm – 6pm term time only.
Playworkers are responsible for:
- Setting up play resources for children before the session starts
- Supervising the children while they play
- Supporting pupils with snack time
- Interacting with the children in a positive way, being a play partner
- Promoting a calm, happy environment
- Supporting any pupils who need first aid
- Liaising with parents at the end of the session
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
