South Hill School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join our KS1 team. The role involves supporting children's learning under the guidance of the class teacher, as well as working with small groups. We are looking for a candidate with a calm, nurturing and resilient approach in the classroom and confident with the learning in KS1. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable. This is a temporary appointment, 8:40 am to 3:15 pm, 5 days per week, (September 2026 to July 2027) with a one hour unpaid lunch break, term time only (27 hours 5 mins per week).
Requirements:
- Candidates qualifications will include GCSE maths and English at Grade 4-9 (A*-C) or equivalent.
