Job Description

We are looking to appoint a SEND teaching assistant to join our EYFS team in September 2026.

This role is initially a fixed‑term position for one year, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The working hours are Monday‑Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, including a half hour lunchtime duty.

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing support to children with a range of Special Educational Needs.
  • Assisting with EYFS curriculum delivery.
  • Participating in staff training and INSET days.
  • Working collaboratively with a supportive team to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs is essential.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS is desirable.
  • Willingness to engage in professional development and attend staff training and INSET days.
