Prae Wood Primary & Nursery operates an after‑school club, RASCals, for pupils aged 3‑11. We seek an enthusiastic, committed room leader to supervise and support children in a play‑based environment, providing care and attention at the end of their school day.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support pupils in the after‑school club.
- Plan and facilitate activities that take into account children’s interests.
- Provide a safe, child‑centred environment conducive to learning and play.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and incidents.
- Communicate with parents and school staff regarding student progress.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic, kind, caring, fun and imaginative leader.
- Understanding of child‑centred approaches.
- Relevant Level 3 Child Care qualifications essential.
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Contract
Fixed term for one year with potential for permanent role depending on demand. Hours Monday to Thursday 2:45pm‑6:00pm (13hrs per week) or 3:00pm‑5:30pm (10hrs per week).
