About the role:
Term time only + INSET Days. We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Assistant to join our friendly and well-established team. The role is from 3:00pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and mainly involves working with our Early Years children. An Early Years qualification would be helpful, but is not essential. There may also be the opportunity to work additional hours as a Midday Supervisor, helping children to enjoy a happy and positive lunchtime.
Our school is in Royston, North Hertfordshire, and we are a two-form entry first school for children from Nursery to Year 4. We are looking for someone who is approachable, flexible and happy to work as part of a team. You will need to be able to use your initiative and support children in a caring and positive way. This is a fixed‑term role, with the possibility of becoming permanent. We are looking for someone with good communication skills, and experience of working with children in a school or childcare setting would be an advantage.
