About the role SEND Teaching Assistant Rotherham Full Time (Monday – Friday) (Temporary – Permanent) Working hours: 08:30am - 15:30pm £469. 15 - £524. 90 Per Week Start date: Monday 2nd November 2026 - ASAP Start Dates Available! The Role Working closely with children and young people with complex needs including autism spectrum disorders (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), physical disabilities, social emotional and mental health (SEMH) and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD).
You will be working within a strong team of staff, supporting one another in the workplace. You must have a passion for education and a motivation to provide a good level of learning and development to students in a classroom environment. You will be supporting children between the ages of 5 – 16 years old (KS1 – KS4). You will be supporting young children who have communication and interaction difficulties, cognition and learning difficulties and sensory or physical difficulties.
