Salary: £45,091 per annum plus £1,043 fringe allowance (Pro‑rated to £10,689 for 10 hours)

Rickmansworth School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counsellor to join our caring pastoral team. The role involves supporting the emotional wellbeing and personal development of students, promoting positive mental health, and working closely with staff, students and families to create a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one‑to‑one counselling support for students.
  • Offer professional guidance and emotional support to students facing challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the school’s comprehensive wellbeing programme.
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development.
