Responsibilities:
- Promote a friendly and welcoming ethos within the school during lunchtime.
- Operate with enthusiasm, care, and a nurturing approach toward children.
- Maintain a calm, friendly presence while asserting necessary control over play and pupil behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with pupils and staff, ensuring clear conveyance of any concerns.
- Be aware of Health & Safety issues surrounding lunchtime activities and respond accordingly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a caring and nurturing approach to children.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- First-aid qualifications desirable; training may be available.
