The successful candidate appointed to the role of SEND Learning Support Assistant will possess the following skills and experience:
- At least one year of experience working with SEND children in the primary age range
- Understanding of children with SEND needs
- Experience working with children in an engaging learning environment
- Ability to build positive and nurturing relationships across all year groups
- Proactive, positive and enthusiastic attitude, capable of working flexibly and creatively to support children within the school
Key responsibilities include:
- Support pupils to access learning across the curriculum through in-class support and targeted one-to-one support
- Hold a GCSE qualification in Maths and English, or equivalent
