Job Description
About the role. Do you want to make a difference to the lives of children? Do you want to work as part of a team with staff who are dedicated, caring and supportive? Are you passionate and knowledgeable about SEND and Inclusion? We are looking to appoint somebody who is proactive, positive and flexible to join the 'Applecroft Family' and be an important part of our Inclusion plans moving forward working closely with our Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion & well‑being and our pastoral team.
The role will include:
- Liaising with teachers and outside agencies to ensure children are receiving the support they need to make progress.
- Working with the SENDCo on referrals, including gathering evidence.
- Running interventions across the school including targeted language groups.
- Supporting children with SEND across the school to ensure they have full access to a broad and balanced curriculum and are making progress.
