Position: Teaching Assistant (Early Years)
Salary: Scale A, £12.85 per hour (MSA) and Scale D, £13.26–£13.47 per hour (TA)
Contract: Fixed Term until 31 August 2027, with possibility of extension.
Working Hours: Part Time – 22.5 hours per week (17.5 TA and 5 MSA), starting September 2026.
Responsibilities
Support Early Years pupils, including those with additional needs, in developing a love of learning. This may involve:
- Leading small phonics sessions
- Running intervention groups
- Supporting individual children with additional needs
- Assisting pupils with their learning in the classroom
