About the role Trainee Teaching Assistant Doncaster £462. 80 - £524. 90 Per Week (Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications) Contract start date: Monday 2nd November 2026 (Temporary – permanent) (Full Time) (Flexible start dates) The School and Role Vision for Education work with thousands of primary, secondary and SEND schools and alternative provisions across the Doncaster area. The majority of the schools we work with are Ofsted rated ‘excellent’ and ‘good’.
The role would involve a dedicated, passionate and determined individual who wants to progress into a teaching profession. The Nation Teaching Assistant Programme would secure you a paid 5-day placement within a SEND school. After completion of the placement and relevant free online training programmes you will be placed into the same or another relevant SEND school setting. The SEND schools that we work with coverage a range of SEN such as ASD, MLD, SLD, SEMH, EBD and ADHD.
