Doncaster Contract: Full-time or Part-time, flexible options available Pay: dependent on experience, paid weekly via PAYE (no umbrella deductions) Start Date: Immediate Start / Flexible Start Available The kind of teacher who can bring history to life and inspire the next generation through stories of the past? We're working with a fantastic secondary school in Doncaster looking for a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join their team.
What your day might look like
- Teaching engaging History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering creative, challenging, and inclusive learning experiences
- Encouraging students to develop their understanding of historical events, societies, and key concepts
- Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback to help students achieve their potential
- Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and academic success
What we're looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to teaching
- A genuine passion for inspiring young people through History
