We are looking to recruit a talented and motivated SEND Support Teaching Assistant to become a valued member of our caring and friendly team at Icknield Infant and Nursery School. The role predominantly involves providing one-to-one support to an individual pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) who has specific SEND needs, but applicants must be prepared to work throughout the school as necessary. The postholder will be fully informed about the child's needs and how to effectively support those needs.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to enabling every child to achieve their very best. This is a part-time (3 hours per day in the mornings), term-time only position, starting in September 2026 on a fixed-term basis for the duration that the individual pupil stays with us at Icknield.
