Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in the state of SC (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
