Graduate Musician & Administrator Required September 2026

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and organised Graduate Musician & Administrator who will assist the Director of Music in promoting an enthusiasm for, and excellence in, Music throughout the School. They will assist with the teaching and administration of a busy and dynamic Music School, as well as assisting with concerts, music tours and stage productions.

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree, preferably in Music or Music/sound production. We would welcome candidates from a wide range of instrumental and style backgrounds.

As the Co-Curricular Administrator, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in organising a broad, enriching and high achieving co-curriculum that expands opportunities for pupil leadership and teamwork. The role will be accountable for the communication and implementation of co-curricular, as well as overseeing and promoting the educational value and benefits of the co-curriculum across all areas.

This position would suit a graduate with experience in administrative work and/or with a musical background; as well as someone who is resourceful and well organised and who would relish the opportunity to work in a dynamic department.

Queenswood is a GSA, BSA, HMC Boarding and Day School for approximately 430 girls aged 11-18, set in beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, easily accessible from North London.

This post is full time 18.75 hours per week, term time (34 weeks) only. Salary will be circa £27,000 per annum pro rata. Actual salary will be circa £9,800 per annum.
