We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Fibre Engineer to join our team, focusing on call-out services and fault-finding.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to call-outs and provide efficient fibre optic fault diagnosis and repair.
Utilize troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve network issues effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.
Strong skills with OTDR test equipment required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in fibre optics installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Strong fault-finding skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Flexibility with working hours, including availability for on-call rotations.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Small cable pulling required and installations cable damage replacements.
Valid Street works card , SA002 , Smart awards card ,First Aid at work.
Valid driver\'s license with less then 6 points and over the age of 30 (can accommodate under 30 for the right candidate)
