EDTAs’ will work under the direct supervision of RNs as part of the multidisciplinary departmental team undertaking duties in relation to direct fundamental patient care and a full range of support functions that may include clerical duties.
EDTAs’ will deliver delegated, supervised work as assigned by RN as appropriate, ensure that there is continual feedback to the Registered nurse about the patient’s condition.
EDTAs’ will contribute to the delivery of quality patient care to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of patients maintaining privacy and dignity at all times

Literacy and numeracy to secondary school standard or above
