Role Description
This is an on-site role for a Primary PE Specialist, based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. As a Primary PE Specialist, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality PE lessons and sports activities for primary-aged children in alignment with curriculum standards. You will engage with students to foster their fitness, teamwork, and overall well-being. You will also collaborate with school staff, contribute to after-school and extracurricular sports clubs, and support the development of inclusive and enjoyable sports experiences.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in delivering curriculum-aligned PE lessons and specialized sports instruction
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills in an educational setting
- Experience in organizing and managing after-school clubs and extracurricular activities
- Ability to engage and motivate children to develop their fitness and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of inclusive sports and creating accessible programs for children of all abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and parents
- Relevant qualifications in sports coaching, physical education, or fitness training
- Enhanced DBS check or equivalent safeguarding certifications
- First Aid training and child protection training are advantageous
