We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher for a role at a lovely, small primary school in Warrington for a maternity cover position. This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs ready to begin their teaching career or an experienced educator looking for a new opportunity. Within this role, you will provide a positive and structured learning environment and support both the academic and emotional development of KS2 pupils. You should be able to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff and integrate yourself into the wider school community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, inclusive and curriculum focused lessons
  • Promote a positive learning environment for all pupils
  • Work alongside support staff to provide high quality education for pupils
  • Assist with general school duties as required
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures

Essential requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience working within a UK Primary School setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to deliver age-appropriate and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
  • Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
