EdShed provides innovative curriculum and technology products for schools and home use. We are known for popular educational resources such as Phonics Shed, Spelling Shed, MathShed, with more offerings on the way. Our tools are designed to enhance learning experiences and provide comprehensive support to educators and children alike.
This is a remote position. You will be responsible for the design and creation of teaching content for KS3 for Spelling Shed as an "English Language Skills" product. You will report to our head of teaching and learning and work with staff on aligned projects to plan and deliver content at a high standard.
You will have experience across a range of schools teaching English to KS3. Experience at KS2 is also desirable as is subject leadership. You will have a clear view on how to support and challenge students and understand the importance of phonics, morphology, punctuation, grammar and rich vocabulary within the context of wider English skills.
Working Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 9:00–17:00 - Remote / Hybrid / Bewdley, Worcestershire. Approximately six month contract.

Requirements:
- You will have recently worked in or directly with KS3s teaching English for at least three years.
- You will have a clear philosophy of instruction that aligns with our own.
- You will have a thorough and current knowledge of relevant educational research.
- An ability to create high quality teaching resources.
- Exceptional English grammar, punctuation and spelling knowledge.
- An ability to use current word processing software and equivalent.
