Overview

Are you a passionate Catering Supervisor or a Kitchen Assistant looking for a progression opportunity? If so, this role is for you and we’d love you to join our fantastic team based in schools across Cheshire West and Chester, Wirral, Halton and Flintshire. You will be supporting the catering operations in running the service at Darnhall Primary School, representing both Edsential and our school to ensure that all pupils have the best quality food and customer experience. Edsential are proud to be the world’s first certified sustainable palm oil catering company, providing fresh, high‑quality and nutritious food to our younger generation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food to a high standard of hygiene and safe practice.
• Complete all kitchen administration.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience of running a school kitchen would be advantageous.
• Ability to empower and lead a team.
• Ability to build relationships and promote a positive work environment.
• Lead‑by‑example attitude.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy customer‑facing role.
