Hours

37 hours per week over 42 weeks per year.

Shift hours: Approx 9-5.

Full Address: Working across our Cheshire Centre's which include Tattenhall, Delemere and Burwardsley.

If successful, you will be required to undertake the following duties within all designated areas

  • To assist with the maintenance of educational resources including sailing boats, climbing equipment, canoes etc.
  • Perform minor repairs.
  • Check control panels to identify issues.
  • Install appliances and equipment.
  • Grounds upkeep by mowing lawns, collecting litter, weeding and planting etc.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain, service, clean and properly store equipment.
  • Check functionality of safety systems (e. g., fire alarm).
  • Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces.
  • Participate in different projects.
  • Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues.
  • Contribute to maintaining health and safety compliance through monitoring, recording, and reporting and testing, e. g., Legionella.
  • Perform other related duties and activities as required.
  • Willing to work from other sites within Edsentials portfolio.

What do we require from you?

  • Experience of undertaking general maintenance duties is desirable but not essential.
  • NVQ in Cleaning is desirable.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work alone and as a team.
  • Comfortable with working at height.
