Shift Hours: We\’re looking for someone to take on our evening shift as the Lead Cook for 28 hours per week, annualised, from 13:30 to 19:30, Tuesday to Saturday, with significant time off in August and December.
This part-time role would suit someone with a family who needs flexibility for school runs, and it could also complement another part-time job in the afternoons or evenings. We are open to considering smaller contracts; please discuss this with us.

The Cook role and responsibilities:
As a Cook, you will support the Catering Manager in the daily running of the kitchen and serve as the point of contact for the catering team when the Catering Manager is absent.
You will be involved in preparing and cooking a variety of meals, ensuring allergy compliance, and maintaining health and safety standards.
If you have catering experience, including staff supervision, and are committed to high standards of service, food quality, and hygiene, this could be the role for you!
This role offers flexible working hours and days, with an annualised system to meet the service needs during busy periods while providing job security with a guaranteed monthly salary.
Our ideal Cook should have the following skills and experience:
- Flexibility to work between 7am-8pm and some weekends
- NVQ Level 2 in food preparation/cooking or equivalent experience – Essential
- Food Safety Level 2 or 3 – Desirable
- Good understanding of allergens and intolerances – Essential
- Core qualifications in Maths and English – Essential
- Understanding of COSHH and HACCP – Essential
- Experience in catering and staff supervision – Essential
- Full driving licence – Essential
