Overview of the Role

As a Support Assistant at Edsential, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and smooth running of the Conway Centre. You’ll support several teams across the site, including:

  • Housekeeping – changing beds, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms and communal areas
  • Catering – preparing food, washing dishes, serving meals, maintaining kitchen hygiene
  • Maintenance – basic practical tasks such as sweeping yards, painting, and general upkeep

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, variety, and contributing to a welcoming, well-maintained environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll help ensure the Conway Centre looks its best and operates smoothly every day. Your work will support the presentation of both indoor and outdoor spaces, contributing to a positive experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning duties — routine and deep cleaning of accommodation, communal areas, and offices
  • Catering support — assisting with food preparation, serving, and kitchen hygiene
  • Room setups — preparing spaces for meetings, events, and activities
  • Basic upkeep & repairs — painting, grounds maintenance
