Overview
Are you a passionate Catering Supervisor or a Kitchen Assistant looking for a progression opportunity? If so, this role is for you and we\’d love you to join our fantastic team based in schools across Cheshire West and Chester / Wirral.
If successful, you will be supporting the Catering operations in running the services across Cheshire and Wirral. You\’ll be representing both Edsential and our school to ensure that all pupils have the best quality food and customer experience. Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising the Kitchen staff in daily operations.
- Preparing and presenting food to a high standard of hygiene and safe practice.
- Completion of all kitchen administration, with safeguarding as a high priority.
- Participating in vetting and induction processes; the successful applicant will be subject to relevant checks and enhanced DBS.
- Working to ensure high-quality food and customer experience across school services in Cheshire and Wirral.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience of running a school kitchen would be advantageous.
- The ability to empower and lead a team.
- Ability to build relationships and promote a positive work environment.
- A lead-by-example attitude.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy, customer-facing role.
