The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

As Southern Stores Driver, you will be responsible for both the delivery and collection of goods and kit across all locations in the UK. This will involve transporting items in a safe and timely manner, whilst adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You will ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly and safely delivered, whilst also ensuring the relevant paperwork is accurate.

This role will include but is not limited to the areas below:

  • Loading, transporting and delivering items to locations in a safe and timely manner
  • Review orders before and after delivery or collection to ensure orders are complete and correct
  • Loading and unloading items from the van to the correct destination and obtaining signature
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
  • Take returns from engineers and ensure they have correct paperwork to return to our Southern Office near Newbury where appropriate
  • Support the Stores Manager and Stores Department when required
  • Plan your delivery route as per the urgency of jobs
