We are now looking to recruit an experienced electrician to join our team working on various electrical works including Solar installations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of various electrical systems and components. They will also be required to have an understanding of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, CCTV systems and other related safety infrastructure.
This role requires a strong understanding of electrical regulations and safety standards within commercial, industrial and residential environments. Working in line with the current standards, you will also be expected to build professional relationships with our clients.
This role will include but is not limited to the items below:
- Perform electrical testing and inspection on installed systems.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electronic and electrical components.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fire and security systems.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with British standards BS7671.
- Accurately complete job sheets, test certificates and documentation.
- Liaise with clients and other trades in a professional manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills:
- City & Guilds Electrical Qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Proven experience working on Electrical systems.
- Understanding of relevant standards BS7671 and IET Wiring regulations.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo BS7858 Employment Screening and an Enhanced DBS check. Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break.
