We are now looking to employ a Trainee Stores Assistant to work within our Stores team based from our Leeds office.The position will involve providing help and assistance to our Stores team & other teams as required. We are looking for a helpful and willing candidate who is looking for a career start.
The successful person will have a full clean driving licence and good communication skills.The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following:
Picking & Packing job lists & despatching.
Assisting with warehouse stock control.
Assisting with waste management on site recycling, etc.
Assisting with checking deliveries and updating systems accordingly.
Scanning and filing delivery and stores documentation.
Provide ad hoc assistance to the Stores team as required.
Stock-taking.
The ideal candidate should have:
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good customer service skills.
Ability to lift heavy parcels or equipment (manual handling training will be provided).
Presentable appearance uniform will be supplied.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Able to operate from our Leeds Head office.
Desire to work as part of a growing team and demonstrate flexibility to assist where needed.
Willingness to go the extra mile.
Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity and proactiveness.
Aspirations to develop a skill set in a supporting department.
Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, with a 45-minute lunch break.Salary will be discussed at interview stage.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo BS7858 Employment Screening and a DBS check.
