We are now recruiting Fire & Security Technical Surveyors to work within our Sales team. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Visit client sites and conduct technical site surveys.
  • Have the technical ability to support the sales teams on client requests.
  • Provide technical solutions to clients' requests.
  • Provide technical reports following site surveys.
  • Promote the full range of fire, security, passive fire and water hygiene services provided by EDSB.
  • Collecting on site asset information for major national account bids.
  • Taking downloads from a variety of panels and system types.
  • Collecting and formatting data spreadsheets.
  • Have a working knowledge of installation methods and applications.
  • Manage your own workload and diary.

We expect the post holder to exercise some flexibility as the role is very reactive and may not be limited to the above.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive technical knowledge of fire and security systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to plan and organise across all aspects of the role.
  • Current full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent organisation, written and numerical skills.
  • Excellent timekeeping and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and a team player, demonstrating professionalism, positivity, and proactivity.

Working hours are 08:30 to 17:00 with a 45 minutes lunch break. Salary will be discussed at interview stage. Successful candidates will be required to undergo BS7858 Employment Screening and an Enhanced DBS check.
