An exciting opportunity has arisen within The Macallan Estate. As the Guest Experience Assistant, you will ensure that all guests are given a world‑class luxury experience of The Macallan with exceptional customer service that exceeds all expectations of our guests, to inspire lifelong enthusiastic brand advocacy of The Macallan. You will offer a world‑class service, creating the ultimate customer experience – an experience to be enjoyed by anyone who visits The Macallan Boutique. Working 3 days from 7, Monday to Sunday, including evening work.
Make an Impact
- To welcome all guests with a passionate and exceptional customer service and inspire all guests to become enthusiastic ambassadors of The Macallan
- Be willing to develop knowledge of and passion for The Macallan and become the ultimate ambassador for The Macallan, whisky, Speyside, and Scotland
- Maintain impeccable standards of grooming and appearance, in line with the grooming and appearance guidelines at The Macallan Estate
- Follow all procedures, systems and processes as set out by The Macallan Estate and across the wider Edrington business
- Help guests with any accessibility needs across The Macallan Estate, which could include driving our mobility transport
- Provide support for The Macallan Hosts with the delivery of world‑class experiences
- Ensure the Macallan tasting areas are consistently set‑up and maintained to the agreed standard
- Frequent use of booking and till systems on computers and other devices
- Maximise every opportunity to exceed guest expectations and recommend experiences and products
- To retain up to date stock knowledge with regards to pricing, product origination, product function and story
- Be fully aware of all bespoke product offerings across the brand range e.g. engraving
Your Talent And Skills
To be successful in this role, you enjoy working with guests and have excellent communication skills. You have the ability to learn and retain information about The Macallan brand and its heritage. You have high attention to detail. You take a 'can do' approach to tasks, along with good timekeeping and a willingness to execute tasks to a high standard. Additionally, you are proficient in handling cash and credit card transactions.
