Role Summary
We have an opportunity to join the Global Digital Technology (GDT) team as a Digital Product Assistant. In this role, you will support the Product Team by helping to coordinate and manage the delivery of projects and products across the Engaged Consumers product family, working with stakeholders globally and supporting all Edrington brands. The Digital Product Assistant supports the delivery and continuous improvement of digital products by helping translate user needs and business objectives into clear, prioritised product requirements. Working closely with a Product Owner or Product Manager, delivery teams, and stakeholders, the role focuses on learning core product practices while contributing to backlog management, sprint planning, and outcome tracking. The Digital Product Assistant plays an important supportive role in ensuring work is well‑defined, customer‑focused, and aligned to product goals, while building experience in modern product development methods.
Responsibilities
- Understand the strategic direction of the global digital product roadmaps
- Work with Edrington’s brand teams to drive adoption of the platforms within these products
- Support in the implementation of appropriate technical solutions with relevant business stakeholders
- Supporting the Digital Product Manager in delivering new features, and helping to mobilise internal and external resources
- Support in requirements gathering process internally with business stakeholders
- Translate business needs and requirements into acceptance criteria and next steps
- Develop an understanding of how to mitigate risks in the design and implementation of technical solutions
- Coordinate the day‑to‑day Global Digital Technology team operations to support project delivery
- Work with external partners to deliver projects in parallel with internal technical development team
- Work with the Product Team to ensure that all operational finances are captured, processed, and reported
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Interest and willingness to learn Agile processes and principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at the same time
- Proactive and solution orientated mindset
- Basic understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, eCommerce platforms and digital technologies.
