Why This Is a Standout Opportunity
Two of the most recognised names in executive search joined this business last year. Senior recruiters at that level do not move lightly. They join platforms where there is real growth, strong leadership and clear long-term upside. The business has ambitious but structured plans to double revenue this year, building on an already successful first phase of growth. In a competitive London market, this is genuinely one of the more compelling finance search opportunities.
The Opportunity
This is for recruiters already operating within finance who want to move into a stronger opportunity with better clients and higher-value roles. Edmund & Evans are representing a specialist executive search firm focused on global finance and investment markets. The team works on senior finance roles including:
- Investment Associate
- M&A Associate
- Private Equity Associate
- Asset Management Associate
- Finance Associate
- Project Finance Advisory Associate
- Investment Banking Associate
- Vice President level hires
Many of the roles carry base salaries up to $225,000 USD.
The Business
The firm is part of a sister company to one of the most established and respected names in the sector, with over 20 years of reputation in the industry. You will walk into a business with live roles to fill from day one. There is no need to build from zero. The brand, relationships and client access are already there. The London office is deliberately small and high-performing. Growth is planned carefully and standards are high.
The Role
You will join at a level aligned to your experience:
- Associate - 2+ years’ finance recruitment experience
- Senior Associate - 3+ years
- Vice Principal - 4+ years with proven ability to originate and lead work
You will:
- Run full recruitment processes from briefing through to offer
- Engage senior finance professionals across investment and advisory markets
- Manage detailed stakeholder processes
- Build genuine market knowledge and credibility
- Work closely with experienced senior consultants
- Take part in important meetings with clients.
At Vice Principal level, there is an expectation of revenue origination and leadership.
Earnings and Progression
Base salaries are significantly stronger than most mid-market recruitment firms. Commission is uncapped and percentage-based. A Senior Associate earned £100,000+ total in 2025 within their first full year in the business. The US team earned more. Clear progression: Associate → Senior Associate → Vice Principal → Director Longer term, there is opportunity to:
- Lead a specialist area
- Build and grow a team
- Relocate internationally once proven
This is a long-term opportunity for ambitious recruiters.
Who This Is For
Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting within finance. You should:
- Understand investment, private capital or advisory markets
- Be confident running full recruitment processes
- Want higher-value roles
- Prefer quality over high-volume work
- Be serious about progression
This is not a stepping stone. It is an opportunity to position yourself within one of the most ambitious and well-backed finance search agencies in London.
