Overview

Join Creative (Digital Designer/Animator). Edmonds Elder is a leading digital consultancy working with a wide range of clients including Deliveroo, Marks & Spencer and Sky. Our integrated approach – bringing together digital strategy, content creation and campaign execution – delivers real results for our clients. We are looking for a Creative, with a focus on digital design, to join our growing team in London. You will need to be passionate about design and possess a natural curiosity and drive to constantly push creative boundaries. Primarily working across digital platforms, you’ll be comfortable switching between both digital and print output to work on a broad range of projects from animations, website creation, graphics for social channels, branding and video, including TikTok. You’ll need exceptional attention to detail and be well organised when it comes to prioritising projects and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and delivering high quality design concepts that meet the requirements of our clients and their brief
  • Producing a range of creative assets for use on digital channels, including statics, carousels and animations
  • Working within account teams to establish appropriate creative direction, present creative ideas to clients and work with clients on creative feedback
  • Collaborating with the video team to integrate design into video content across platforms, from LinkedIn to TikTok
  • Staying abreast of new media formats and learning how to incorporate them into creative campaigns
  • Managing your work with the team to ensure all projects are produced on time, to an agreed brief, budget and high standard
  • Acquiring new expertise and capability as relevant/appropriate, e.g. photography, typesetting, animation
  • Identifying examples of outstanding/inspiring design work and best practice and sharing across the team

Skills and Knowledge

  • 2-4 years’ experience in a design role
  • The ability to interpret a brief and understand the strategy behind it to produce something dynamic and impactful
  • Solid knowledge of design processes, methodologies, and best practice principles with a keen eye for typography and layout
  • Strong skills with the Adobe Creative Suite particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Animation/motion graphics skills essential
