This is not your typical customer success role. As the Sr. International Customer Success Manager on Edmentum's International Services team, you will bring senior-level expertise to a dual mandate: owning a portfolio of the most complex, high-value international accounts while serving as the team's go-to leader, mentor, and escalation anchor for a talented group of Customer Success Managers. You will be the person who gets things done, focuses the team, and elevates everyone around you, all while staying deeply connected to the customers and markets that matter most.
In this role you will:
- Own and lead a focused portfolio of strategic international accounts, serving as the senior point of contact for onboarding, implementation, adoption, and long-term success.
- Provide formal day-to-day leadership and mentorship to the CSM team, coaching on relationship management, tool use, and the structured execution habits that keep complex teams moving.
- Serve as the first line of escalation for the team, resolving the majority of complex customer and operational challenges independently and coaching team members to bring solutions, not just problems.
- Lead onboarding and enablement for new team members, building their confidence and competence in servicing international accounts from day one.
- Drive consistent adoption of customer success tools and reporting practices, using data to surface risks and continuously improve service delivery across the team.
- Represent Edmentum at strategic customer engagements, including travel to key international markets, as the trusted face of our international services function.
Who You Are:
- You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Education, International Relations, or a related field.
- You bring 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or international services, including time in a senior or lead capacity.
- You have experience managing or formally mentoring a team, and you know the difference between being the loudest voice in the room and being the most trusted one.
- You are deeply skilled at owning complex, high-value accounts through the full lifecycle, from onboarding and implementation to long-term retention.
- You are proficient with customer success platforms and CRM tools, and you know how to use data to tell a story and drive action.
- You have experience in education technology; knowledge of international education markets is a meaningful advantage.
- You are a structured, direct, and execution-focused professional who can channel a team's energy into what matters most, while keeping space for good ideas.
- You are skilled at coaching others to be problem-solvers, not just problem-reporters, and you do it in a way that builds confidence, not dependency.
- You are comfortable in executive-level customer conversations and can represent Edmentum with credibility in high-stakes international settings.
- You are able to work flexibly across time zones and, where needed, travel to support key customer relationships.
- You bring multilingual capability, a significant plus for our international markets.
- You are willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs.
At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
We also offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your overall well-being and work-life balance. This includes medical, dental, and vision insurance with various plan options, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, and a time away program, volunteer time away, and a winter office closure at the end of December. Additionally, we provide resources to promote wellness, ensuring you have the support you need both professionally and personally. Our goal is to provide a benefits package that helps you thrive in all aspects of life.
