Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge within the commercial building and refurbishment sector?
I\’m currently working on behalf of a well-established and highly respected main contractor, who are looking to strengthen their commercial team with the addition of a Senior QS. Based in the Central Belt of Scotland, this is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business with a strong pipeline of public and private sector work across education, healthcare, office fit-outs, and civic buildings.

The Role:You\’ll take a lead role in managing commercial and contractual aspects of multiple projects, typically ranging from £500k to £5m in value. This will include:
Preparing and managing accurate cost plans, valuations, and final accounts
Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
Contract administration (predominantly JCT)
Cost reporting and forecasting
Working closely with the site and project teams to ensure commercial targets are met
What We\’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar Senior Quantity Surveyor role
Background in commercial refurbishment and/or fit-out projects preferred
Sound understanding of JCT/NEC3/NEC4 contracts
Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across project teams
Full UK driving licence
