We are working with a well-established contractor within the social housing sector who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior / Lead Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Motherwell. This role is focused on planned and reactive maintenance, voids, and refurbishment works across housing association contracts.

The Role

  • Commercial management of social housing maintenance and refurbishment projects, including:
  • Commercial control of reactive repairs and voids contracts
  • Management of kitchens & bathrooms programmes
  • Valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
  • Subcontractor procurement and commercial management
  • Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff (where applicable)

About You

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within social housing
  • Strong knowledge of housing association maintenance and refurbishment works
  • Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
