We are working with a well-established contractor within the social housing sector who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior / Lead Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Motherwell. This role is focused on planned and reactive maintenance, voids, and refurbishment works across housing association contracts.
The Role
- Commercial management of social housing maintenance and refurbishment projects, including:
- Commercial control of reactive repairs and voids contracts
- Management of kitchens & bathrooms programmes
- Valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
- Subcontractor procurement and commercial management
- Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff (where applicable)
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within social housing
- Strong knowledge of housing association maintenance and refurbishment works
- Excellent commercial and contractual awareness
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
