Our client, a reputable construction contractor with a strong workload across Glasgow and the Central Belt, is currently seeking an experienced Joiner Supervisor (SSSTS) to join their team on a long-term temporary basis. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is comfortable leading from the front. You will be responsible for supervising a team of joiners while remaining actively involved on the tools, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating a team of joiners on site.
- Carrying out joinery works as part of the team.
- Ensuring work is completed to programme and quality standards.
- Promoting and maintaining high levels of health and safety.
- Liaising with site management and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Allocating workloads and supporting operatives on site.
- Monitoring productivity and maintaining quality workmanship throughout the project.
Requirements
- Time-served Joiner with strong all-round joinery experience.
- Valid SSSTS certificate (essential).
- Previous experience supervising joinery teams on construction sites.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
