Our client, a well-established construction company based in Glasgow, is looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Construction Administrator to join their busy operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys playing a key role in supporting site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking in site operatives each morning and ensuring attendance is accurately recorded.
- Logging operatives' working hours on the company's online time-tracking portal.
- Monitoring vehicle tracking systems to ensure operatives arrive on site on time and adhere to daily schedules.
- Liaising with site teams and management to resolve any attendance or scheduling issues.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
- Providing general construction administration support, including filing, document control, data entry and handling site paperwork.
- Assisting with additional administrative duties as required to support the smooth running of construction projects.
- The Ideal Candidate
- Previous administration experience, ideally within the construction or engineering sector.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and online administration systems.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
