Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About The Role

  • Act as deputy to the EDM Quality Manager in their absence
  • Maintain and plan the EDM internal and external audit plan
  • Oversee EDM equipment calibration requirements
  • Support Factory and/or Site Acceptable Testing when required
  • Support Test Activities
  • Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) when required and manage the diary
  • Verification of stages during build
  • Recording of errors and collating trends
  • Testing of systems both mechanical and electronic
  • Assist in the creation and closure of EDM Non Conformances
  • Assist in bids and review quality requirements
  • Assist in maintaining the EDM Quality Manual and EDM processes
  • Respond to customer complaints in a timely and efficient manner and maintain records
  • Manage & maintain proprietary systems data within the company computer systems
  • Maintain the EDM MRB (Material Review Board) System
  • Develop EDM inspection capability to deliver cost effective verification methods

Key Requirements

  • Experience in solving problems and driving improvements
  • Experience with ISO 9001
  • Understanding of GD&T and its applications
  • Use of modern measuring equipment and determining best and most effective use
  • Experience of working in Imperial
  • Experience in FAIR processes to AS9102
  • Understanding of CE marking requirements
  • Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as and when required
  • Ability to achieve UK Security Clearance
