As part of our business, we repair electronic boards we develop to be integrated into our own equipment. The role requires one individual to take ownership of our 9 electronic repair workshops and professionalise them to the next level. We currently use state-of-the-art equipment and repair a massive amount of boards. Nevertheless, lots of them can’t be repaired as more time is needed to investigate and identify the causes of the fault. The role is to coordinate the workshops, improve what has already been done, identify constraints and practices, make changes, check performance, adapt, deploy and keep the pace in order to improve quality and boost production. At the same time, coordinate the day-to-day activities and ensure workshops are well supplied and staff well trained.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise electronic boards repair workshops
- Reinforce best reworking practices across all workshops
- Ongoing research on new technologies for reliability and efficiency
- Provide performance feedback and suggest changes on in-house developed equipment
- Develop and customise best working environment according to company policies
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with local authorities and best practices
- Supervise all new talent acquisition related workshop activities
- Handle annual and monthly budget for workshops
Profile:
- Highly skilled electronic background is mostly required
- Well organised and ability to follow and reinforce instructions
- Troubleshooting skills and out-of-the-box thinking
- Ability to develop and write manuals/procedures
- English language. French/Portuguese language is a plus
- Frequent travels abroad
