Salary: £31,329 - £36,209 (DOE + sleep-ins + qualifications)

  • Be a calm, steady presence in a child’s life when they need it most
  • Supporting children with daily routines—school, meals, homework, activities
  • Use a trauma-informed approach to help them feel safe, understood, and valued
  • Help young people manage their emotions and behaviours in a positive, respectful way
  • Working as part of a close-knit team that’s got each other’s backs and works together to give children the best care possible
  • Keeping the home tidy, safe, and a place to be proud of
  • Writing reports and logs to help keep things running smoothly and safely

You’ll need:

  • Life experience from any background – we’ll provide full training!
  • A calm, caring and reliable personality
  • Willingness to learn about trauma-informed care (don’t worry, we’ll teach you)
  • A full UK driving licence and be over the age of 21
  • Willingness to work shifts, including sleep-ins
