High Voltage / Electrical Engineer (LV/HV)
Responsible for the installation, upgrade, testing, commissioning, and energisation of LV and HV electrical infrastructure across utility, rail, data centre, industrial, and power generation environments.
Worked closely with multiple Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) to commission and energise a wide range of electrical supplies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Supported various utility providers on private networks, carrying out upgrades, fault repairs, and new installations of cabling and switchgear.
Installed 132kV busbar systems within a power generation plant, coordinating with site teams to deliver works safely and efficiently.
Removed and upgraded high-voltage transformers, including the installation of new cabling, followed by full testing, commissioning, and energisation.
Contributed to a major rail infrastructure project, managing and delivering complex HV and LV cable diversions in live environments.
Completed testing and commissioning activities on multiple data centres, supporting critical power infrastructure and ensuring system reliability.
Delivered LV and HV maintenance and testing works on a large recycling plant, maintaining operational continuity and safety compliance.
Installed earthing mats for transformer bases, ensuring effective grounding and adherence to electrical safety requirements.
