The Role
Edison Smart are partnered with an innovative leader in the IoT connectivity space to recruit an Account Manager responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships. This position plays a key role in driving customer success, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and tailored solutions to meet their evolving business needs.
You’ll work closely with some of the company’s fastest-growing accounts, collaborating across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver value, support adoption, and drive revenue performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with strategic accounts.
- Understand clients’ business goals and provide solutions that help them achieve their objectives while increasing our share of their business.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review project status, address challenges, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Monitor account performance metrics and recommend actions for continuous improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and uncover new opportunities.
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly sales targets and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Product, Finance) to deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer records are maintained in CRM systems.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Partner with credit control and finance teams to ensure accounts remain financially viable.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Demonstrate a continuous desire to deepen your understanding of the business and the broader IoT ecosystem.
