Rate: £350 - £400 per day
Location: Hybrid – London
We are seeking a Hardware Engineer for a minimum 6-month contract role with a leading technology company based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to cutting-edge product development and testing in a highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret schematics and PCB layouts
- Conduct electronic testing, including working with Oscilloscopes and Digital Bench Multimeters (DBM)
- Perform analytical fault finding at board and component level
- Support root cause analysis and provide detailed feedback to engineering teams
- Collaborate with design and test engineers to validate hardware performance
Required Skills:
- Proven experience with schematics, PCB layout interpretation, and electronic test equipment
- Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and analogue/digital circuit testing
- Hands-on experience with fault diagnosis and repair at board level
- Comfortable with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and various test tools
Desirable (Nice to Have):
- Experience with WiFi/Bluetooth modules and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, etc.)
- Python scripting skills for automated testing or data analysis
