An exciting new role has been created for a Part Time Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant to facilitate our continued growth both in the UK and Internationally. The role will encompass all aspects of supporting our Finance Director with managing Edison’s credit control processes, ensuring timely payments of invoices and maintaining strong relationships with clients from our HQ based in Basingstoke.

What you’ll get up to as our Credit Controller:

  • Credit management
  • Collections – chasing overdue payments via phone and email.
  • Reporting
  • Issuing monthly statements
  • Maintaining strong relationships with our customers
  • Supporting the Finance Director with reporting and collections

In addition at times, you will also be involved in some of the below:

  • Amex postings
  • Dealing with supplier invoices including contractors
  • Uploading timesheets
  • Managing our contractors inbox
  • Raising perm and contractor invoices and credit notes on Xero
  • Managing our contractors payroll spreadsheet
  • Bank postings and reconciliations
  • Managing expenses claims

To be successful in your application, it is essential to have previous finance experience with a particular focus within credit control along with a good knowledge of Excel and Xero. You will hold strong analytical skills and attention to detail as well as hold strong organisation skills.
